Operator training:

Participants

The course is intended for those who are operators or administrators of vertical storage lifts delivered by Weland Lagersystem AB. During the course, we mix theoretical study with practical exercises (approx. 1 hour theory and 3 hours practical).

Goals

After the course, the participants will have the basic knowledge required for handling the vertical storage lift, and the material stored in it, in a safe manner.

The course also provides administrators with basic knowledge of the administration and optimisation of the machine as well as with a good base for quickly remedying simple operating faults with the support of our telephone support. Used correctly, a vertical storage lift has a higher capacity, greater availability and increased service life.

Location

The course is arranged at the customer's company or at Weland Lagersystem AB.

Subjects treated

  • The machine's safety functions.
  • Operating Instruction and machine file.
  • The machine's basic functions.

Vertical Storage Lift G1/G2 superuser

Participants

The course is intended for those in charge of machines who wish to have a deeper understanding about how vertical storage lifts work and how you can affect their performance. During the course, we mix theoretical study with practical exercises (approx. 3 hours theory, 5 hours practical). Parts of the theory section are done on a PC, where we also operate the entire machine control in a simulated environment.

Goals

After the course, the participants will have good knowledge of how to handle the vertical storage lift, and the material stored in it, in a safe manner.

The course also provides a deeper knowledge of the administration and optimisation of the machine as well as a good base for quickly remedying simple operating faults, either alone or with the support of our telephone support. Used correctly, a vertical storage lift has a higher capacity, greater availability and increased service life.

Location

The course is arranged at Weland Lagersystem AB in Gislaved, where we make use of our test machine for the practical exercises.

We perform realistic simulations and remedy faults that could occur during normal operation. At our plant, we can also demonstrate what happens in the case of incorrect use/loading of the vertical storage lift without causing any stoppages or unexpected damage to the machinery at your company.

Subjects treated

  • Finding and understanding the operating instructions and machine file.
  • Finding and understanding all the menus in the operator panel.
  • Run through of the machine's different functions as well as how to use them in the best way.
  • Understanding and troubleshooting the machine's safety functions.
